Engraving: word, coordinates, drawing or print

We laser-engrave, on steel or S925 silver, exactly what you give us. Choose one of the four ways while personalizing. The back can carry a second line, up to 20 characters (+€3.00). Made in 2 to 4 business days.

Word or message

A name, a date, a line only the two of you understand. We engrave it exactly as you type it, capitals included.

1. Choose the form. While personalizing, tap “Word or message” and then “Continue”. You can go back and choose another form whenever you like.
2. Write and pick the lettering. Up to 25 characters, in Script, Serif or Sans serif. The preview shows the text as it will be engraved.
3. Add the back. If you want a second line on the back, switch on “Back engraving” and write up to 20 characters. It is an extra, with the price in view.
4. Review before buying. At the end you see the text and lettering exactly as they go to the atelier. Check capitals, accents and dates; “Edit” still lets you change everything.

Coordinates

Where you met. Where someone said yes. Where a life began. We engrave the coordinates of that spot, in two lines: latitude and longitude. We need a place, nothing more. If we have any doubt, we check with you before engraving.

1. Choose the form. Tap “Coordinates” and then “Continue”.
2. Write the place. A city, an address or the name of the spot; pick one of the suggestions that appear below the field.
3. Set the point. The map opens on that place. Drag the point, or tap the map, to the exact spot. Below it you see the coordinates, on two lines.
4. Review before buying. At the end you see the coordinates exactly as they go to the atelier. If that is not the spot, tap “Edit” and set the point again.

Drawing

A child’s drawing, a signature, a single line. We trace the line by hand and engrave it. The finest lines are simplified.

1. Choose the form. Tap “Drawing” and then “Continue”.
2. Photograph the drawing. Tap “Choose the drawing” and pick it from your gallery, or photograph it on the spot: dark pen on white paper, from above, in daylight.
3. Frame it. The drawing appears in the shape of the piece. If needed, tap the crop symbol and drag the corners; then tap “Add”.
4. Confirm or change. You see the cropped drawing. You can change it, adjust the crop or ask the atelier to clean up the lines, only if needed. You can also email the drawing after purchase.

Engraved fingerprint

You take the print at home, with the kit we send you at no cost. There is nothing to send when you order.

1. Receive the kit. Ink pad, card and instructions, in 1 to 2 business days.
2. Take and photograph. Several prints, in good light.
3. Send us the photograph. To help@madebyengram.com.
4. We engrave and ship. In 2 to 4 business days, once the photograph arrives.

Total time: 2 to 3 weeks. Engraving starts when the photograph arrives. If the piece is for a date, tell us in the letter message.
